Phase earthing and short-circuit equipment for medium voltage overhead lines.
The main aim for its installation is the operator’s protection against an accidental commissioning or possible return voltage during repair operations.
The MC clamp is fixed on bare conductors by pressure and removed by an operating hook. The three clamps can be put up at the same time thanks to the dispenser head, facilitating operator’s work.
In accordance with IEC 61230 standard.
Composed of:
- 3 MC aluminium alloy clamps closing by automatic activation. For cylindrical conductors with diameter between 3 and 22 mm.
- 1 dispenser head with hook, with M-10 connection.
- 2 copper cables with PVC insulation of (16/25/35) mm2 section and 2,5 m long.
- 1 copper cables with PVC insulation of (16/25) mm2 section and 15 m long.
- 1 metallic spool for the earthing cable.
- 1 telescopic pole (1,10 m holded and 2 m unholded) with button lock.
- 1 earthing rod.
- 1 case to store and transport the equipment.
- 1 carrying bag to store and transport the pole and the earthing rod.
